K.M: When I was a child I often used to play with classical video games. In the TV screen I usually could see the pixels of the pictures and they were mostly cloudy. If I wanted to clear the picture I had to hit the gear. So my gif video has almost the same vision as those video games, it includes memories from the child- hood, old timer animations full of pixels like Mario or bloody shooting games I used to play with my brother.

The video is part of a series. Based on personal experience, it is an adaptation of everyday events that are sometimes able to question the very core of one's identity. 'To become transparent when I am present, but also when I cannot even see myself in the mirror. In the end, every fear and negative emotion turns to stone, walls are built and torn down...there are no memories to hide behind'.

Morning. They are both in the house. A big and taste breakfast is being prepared. Once it is served, something will have happened - a piercing female scream from the neighbourhood. And then another one. And another one. Yet they will resist. Eating all before themselves. * Film has no dialogue!

GULI SILBERSTEIN - DISTURBDANCE nationality: UK duration: 3'25" A poetic video work, dealing with the pain of the unstoppable violence existing in our lives: a young woman is trying to stop two armed soldiers from firing at protesters in a village behind her. The image is digitally processed and slowed down. The soundtrack is replaced with lyrical music. The scene is turned extraordinary - the soldiers and the girl seem to be trapped in a kind of a dance between reality and dream.

ENIKO FODOR - SHADOW nationality: HUNGARY duration: 1'02" made in 2013 My project is a video installation, in which I observe the meeting of 2 dimensions, and there effects on eachother. Throughout my work I put huge emphasis on observing shadows, silhouettes and their direct usage. My video, The Shadow, shows a usual, everyday situation (swinging kid) and enhances it to an artistic level. The visual twist is the shadow under the empty swing, in which the kids shadow appears.

Wasted b-roll footage and outtakes, come back to life triggered by the sounds of circuit-bended toy keyboards and a theremin. Hidden pictures & sounds are revealed through a kaleidoscopic view and a sonic trip to an unknown place.

With Imaginarium, I wanted to address the subject of memory linked to the public space of the city of Buenos Aires, filming its most representative sculptures and monuments or those that struck me the most. In this way, my intention was to leave open questions regarding the representation of historic events and important figures, myths and other fictions, through the city's sculptures: What is a monument? What representations do they construct in our social imaginary?

CHRISTIAN STAHL: 20ZWOELF nationality: GERMANY duration: 4'00" made in 2012 Freedom of the press is one of our greatest assets. We just need to make journalists aware of abuses and defend this fundamental right. But we must also focus on self-critical on the way we work. Freedom of the press is regularly put to the test.
