biography:

Born in Buenos Aires in April 1969.

Bachelor’s Degree and Major in Communication Science in Geneva, Switzerland (1976-1986) and Montevideo, Uruguay (1986-1995).

Since 1990, he has worked as a Creative, an Associate Creative Director and an Executive Creative Director at various agencies in Uruguay and Spain, among which Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson and Ogilvy in Uruguay may be distinguished as well as Tiempo BBDO, Tandem DDB, Vitruvio Leo Burnett and Ruiz Nicoli in Spain. Some clients, for whom he has worked, include Johnson & Johnson , Diario AS, Renault, Ginebra Tanqueray, Schweppes, BBVA, Mc Donald’s, Movistar and ONCE.

He has won more than 60 prizes in television, graphics and radio at various publicity festivals, among which, include those in El Sol ( San Sebastian), FIAP, Epica, Eurobest, The One Show and New York Festivals.

In 2003, he left the world of agencies and began freelancing while he wrote and pre- produced a feature film project.

In 2004, he co-produced and directed the film “Shevernate”, which won various awards at national and international festivals, among which were Best Screenplay at the Malaga Festival (Zonazine), Audience ́s Choice and Best Film at the Viña del Mar Festival (Chile) and Best Actor at the Peñíscola film festival.

In 2005, he founded an advertising agency, Wissmuller Project, that closed in 2010.

Since 2010, he has undertaken free lance jobs involving both creativity as well as film direction.

synopsis:

A taxi driver complaints about a traffic fine. When he Speaks, we see in images the typical and shocking curses used in spanish language.

"With this very short film, I would like to show how hard and absurd are the images that we appeal to when we speak cursing, all of them being associated to sex and scatology. Especially in Spain." Pablo Palazón
