Christian Stahl (born 11 February 1970) is a German filmmaker, author and journalist. He studied German and History at the University of Bonn and at Queen's College, Oxford. Following a traineeship at the Sender Freies Berlin, he worked as a regional radio correspondent for the ARD and as a presenter at Radio Multikulti. He has run a media agency since 2005 and teaches film and video journalism at the University of Fulda, among other places.

In 2004, he developed the fictional documentary "Hundeleben" ("Dog's Life") with punks from Berlin's Alexanderplatz, in which Otto Sander and Maria Simon also played small roles. In winter 2007, Stahl produced the no budget short film "The future comes to Srebrenica" with young people in Srebrenica. In 2010 he received the Grimme Online Award as video lecturer and team member of the Axel Springer Akademie for the website www.littleberlin.de.

The documentary film "Gangsterläufer" ("Gangster Runner") about a Palestinian refugee family in Berlin-Neukölln is Stahl's first 90-minute film, which he worked on for six years.
